Welcome to the Reading University Architecture Society.
Our Aims
1. To have a presence in the university as the School of Architecture.
2. To ensure all years have the opportunity to socialise with each other.
3. To connect with architecture students and architecture practices
4. To provide a needed time-out from long days at the studio.
Our Welfare Team is dedicated to helping the students of the school of architecture through any queries or issues they may have. They will also be running Welfare Wednesdays throughout the year.

2020 brought us everything from a global pandemic, extreme polarisation, a new digital reality, academic reform, mass unemployment, financial crisis and the conclusion to agreements on Brexit; to events such as the BLM movement, the commercialisation of space and the development of vaccines to fight the novel coronavirus. In this lecture series, we question what comes next? How can architecture make the future a better and brighter place? We pose these questions to our speakers, each who have achieved incredible feats in their personal and proffesional lives, in the hope that their insight will help to inspire the future generation of architects.
