In readiness for the new term, Welfare aims to build upon the example set by the year before. This means the continuation of WelfareWednesdays, but in a slightly different format; weekly posts will consist of a main issue or question posed by a student, followed by a range of answers from those who have encountered it, allowing possible solutions to be brought forward. This provides a great amount of student interaction with the welfare team, as well as reiterating the fact that it is usual to struggle and that it should never happen alone. At the end of each welfare post contact details for the team, as well as multiple support avenues, will be provided, as the suggestions and discussion posed may not always reach the depth that some students require. Aside from the more public setting, students are able to message the welfare reps, or any of the RUAS team individually, if they have any concerns whatsoever, hopefully providing a service that caters for everybody.
